Stylish Beauty Website: The Pink Panel

If you don't know by now I am a huge beauty fanatic and am ALWAYS trying new beauty products (I blame working at ULTA for so long hehe) We all love the monthly beauty box subscriptions but that can quickly add up with products you may only use once or never at all and sometimes you never get products you actually want. Well I found a great website that sends you beauty products (some not even available in stores yet) and you review them and give your honest feedback! The process is so simple and is all done through Facebook, so there really is no excuse on why you can't join hehe! Here is the The Pink Panel process!
How does the PinkPanel work? Simple...
  1. Testing New Beauty Products – once selected you will receive free samples of skincare or makeup products. We will ask you to complete a few simple online surveys letting us know your thoughts and opinions about these new products. Often you can receive a stipend ranging from $50 to $200 for each group. That’s right, you’ll be paid to get free makeup and tell us what you think!!
  2. Give Us Ideas – take an online survey, via email link, and give us feedback on brand names, beauty trends, shopping habits, spending trends and advertisements. Each survey is designed to take no more than 20 minutes.
  3. Monthly Prize Drawings – we want you to know how much you mean to us. So, each month we randomly select a member of our panel to receive a gift basket of the newest and best beauty products on the market. Just a little love from The Pink Panel.
The Pink Panel sent me some goodies (in the cutest pink packaging) including some gorgeous pink nail polish, Philosophy's Full of Promise Treatment duo, and BioElements Breakout Control Acne Treatment. Both products I have added to my daily skin regime and I am liking the results I am seeing already! Thanks to The Pink Panel for sending me these awesome goodies!
Have a stylish weekend!

We all know that I am OBSESSED with Pretty Little Liars and when I sat down to write my Stylish Girl of the Month  for June I knew I had to include one of the girls from the show. Shay Mitchell who plays the adorable and witty Emily on PLL is a down right stylish girl everyday! The Canadian began as a model and made her way into acting and now stars on one of the hottest tv shows! Of course her fashion sense is right on, she dresses perfectly for her age and body and knows how to hit trends right now. She also wears super affordable clothing, which is an even bigger reason why I adore her! She is the perfect choice for my June SGOTM! Can you believe its almost July!?
What is your favorite look on Shay?

Stylish 23rd Birthday Wish List

Bday Wish List

I can't believe my birthday is Monday! I feel like time flies so fast lately! As I get older my wish lists start to get smaller because I can actually start to get things I am lusting over easier (thank goodness for a job) but I of course have a few things I am eying for my birthday! It is definitely time for a new iPhone so that is the top item I am hoping for!

Stylish Outfit: Summertime Wedding

Dress: Free People // Shoes: Target (similar)  // Clutch, Belt, and Bracelet: Forever 21 // Necklace: Nordstrom
This past weekend after being gone for a week, my bf and I headed up to Fresno, CA to see two friends get married! It was a beautiful wedding and I am so happy for my friends and the life they will have together. Of course, what I wore was a huge deal and I had my BF snap some quick pictures before the wedding. I wanted to be casual but still chic, so this hot pink FP dress was the perfect fit! I belted it and paired with mary-jane heels, a super simple outfit but still very girlie! I went with a fun cat eye and simple lips which I think made it still feel casual but perfect for a summertime outdoor wedding!

I'm BACKKKKK! So glad to be back and to share all my fun stories from the last week and half! It's been a crazy relaxing and amazing week and I am sad to see it end, but excited to share my trip stories! When we flew into Wisconsin I got to see my best friend from college and spend the day touring Milwaukee. The weather was beautiful and it was perfect for white pants and polka dots. We had a fabulous lunch in the third ward then toured Lakefront Brewery where we had a blast and ended the evening with yummy mexican food in downtown! It was a perfect way to start off the trip and the perfect background for a few outfit pictures! Thanks to my boyfriend for snapping these pictures! I will be back tomorrow with more pictures from my trip!

Stylish Guest Blogger: Closet Fashionista

While I am heading back to LA today (and then off to a wedding) I am sad that this is my last guest blogger. Megan of Closet Fashionista, and I "met" last year in NYC at Lucky FABB and we have been keeping in touch ever since. I love her sense for finding great and stylish bargains but also splurging on the best pieces. She has a great sense of style and I am so excited she accepted to be my final guest blogger! Enjoy Megan's gorgeous outfit post and have a stylish weekend!

Hey everyone! For those of you that don't know me, my name is Megan and I blog over at Closet Fashionista! I've "known" Alex since last September. Oddly enough we were both at LuckyFABB AND she was standing behind me while we were in line but we never actually met (photo proof.)  She happened to email me about LAmade a couple weeks later and from that day on I've been a follower of her awesome blog!

When Alex asked me to guest post while she was on vacation (jealous!) I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I broke out my new maxi skirt (a great thrift store find for $5) and came up with an outfit that I would wear on vacation.  What I think is great about this outfit is that it can go from the beach to dinner with a few changes. I obviously showed it as the dinner option, but if you wore this to the beach just switch the shoes to flip flops, take off the jewelry and voila! You can also get rid of the tee as well and wear the maxi as a dress. I am definitely taking this outfit with me for my beach vacation, sadly that is still a month away.

Make sure to head over to Closet Fashionista for all of Megan's great finds! Thank you for the wonderful posts and to all my amazing blogger friends for being such amazing bloggers while I have been away! I will be back Monday with a full recap of my trip! xoxo

Stylish Guest Blogger: Girl Avant Garde

Can you believe it is already Wednesday!? I can't believe how fast this week is flying by! I am excited to share another dear friend of mine, Courtney of Girl Avant Garde and her blog post today. You might remember Courtney from a collaboration we did a while back but the recently engaged and stylish NYCer is back to share her fabulous style!

Hi Stylelista readers! I'm Courtney and I blog on over at Girl Avant Garde about everything from fashion to sweets! Alex asked me to take over today while she's on vacation, so here I am sharing my summery dress. I recently got engaged and my fiance and I shot engagement photos last Friday. I wore this dress to our "picnic shoot" in Central Park and I'm sure it will be on repeat all summer long. I mean, white looks good on everyone, right? I especially love the lace insets on the waist of this dress, which makes it a little bit different. I'd love to know, what is your go-to look this season?

Stylish Guest Blogger: A Slice of Glam

Happy Tuesday stylelistas! Today is another fabulous day here in Wisconsin and I am so excited to have my dear friend Amberly of A Slice of Glam as today's guest blogger. We have been friends for years and I love that we share the passion for fashion and blogging and I am so excited she is willing to post for me again!

Hey everyone!  I'm sharing with you some of my recent fashion finds.  I've been doing a little shopping for my upcoming vacation, and one of the trends I'll be packing is a crop top.  At first I wasn't really a fan of this look, but I think paired with a high waist pencil skirt it will be a style that I can pull off.  (Hopefully! ha!)  So here's to upping the ab workouts and shopping for the perfect crop top!

Make sure to follow A Slice of Glam and thank you again Amberly for the amazing post! xoxo

Stylish Guest Blogger: Twenty-Four-Seven Fashion

Today is my 3rd day here in Wisconsin, and I have to say I am loving it! It is such a gorgeous place and I am getting some much needed R&R. I am also excited to share the first of five amazing bloggers that graciously offered to post for me while I am away! Haley of Twenty-Four-Seven Fashion has been a dear friend of mine for almost 3 years now and I couldn't be more excited to have her guest blogging for me again! She asked me to help her redesign her blog after taking the year off to focus on school and I couldn't be happier to help bring her back into the blogging world, I am so excited to kick off the week with a favorite and adorable blogger like Haley!
I'm so happy to be guest blogging for Stylelista Confessions again this year! After being on a year long break from blogging, I'm glad to be back! And after four long years of hard work towards my Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree I can proudly announce that I'm graduating this week!

I feel like simplicity is key on graduation day - it's often hot, there's a lot of sitting, you're in a gown for the majority of the time. For me, my graduation outfit is going to be about mixing high and low price items. The dresses I picked may be a little expensive, but finding an affordable but classy shoe these days is fairly easy to do (I'm looking at you Zara!).  A small clutch and statement necklace and you're all set for accessories!

I would love to hear your opinions on what to wear to a commencement ceremony. What is a fashion no-no (I'm talking too much skin!)? Are any colors off limits?

Congratulations to all of you who are graduating this year! If you take a look at my blog you may notice that there are no posts, this is because Alex and I have been working together to create a new layout! I'm excited to say it is finished and I will be posting soon! Thank you Alex for the opportunity to guest post again and for the help with my blog! (She truly is talented y'all!)

Haley x

I am nostalgic of Haley graduating, it feels like I have been out of college forever! Congrats Haley! Make sure to head over to her blog Twenty-Four-Seven Fashion for everything fashion! xoxo

Stylish Summer Must Have: White Blazers

Stylish White Blazers

Mango $60

With summer now in full swing, white is the color of the season! If you live in a place where it still gets semi chilly when the sun goes down, having a great light weight blazer is a total must have and why not get it in white? I decided to scour the web for affordable yet stylish white blazer options (a great white blazer is way harder to find for less than you think!) and found a few that are definitely perfect for summer!
What blazer is your favorite?

So I decided to share what's in my "lake" bag and what I never leave home without! (besides my bikini of course!)
