I have been able to make a really awesome contact, ODA PR based in NYC. They represent some amazing designers (check out my interview with one here) and recently I got the opportunity to learn about an incredible designer, Jane Lipman Post. Jane is already well established in the industry, she is the force behind Drizzle, a raincoat company created by Jane and her late husband Jack Lipman. Jane is back brinigng her unique style to raincoats with her new line, Jane Post!
While Jane was retired at the time, Saks Fifth Avenue approached her saying sales of raincoats were flat and the store needed a major makeover and glamour to be brought back into a category that was slowly dissapearing. SO Jane Post was born! It is a collection of rainwear and coats that stand out thanks detailing and stylish quirks. For example, striped lining taken from a shoe box, or a trench coat with a zip-out cashmere liner, Jane knows how make your everyday raincoat stylish as ever!
