So August means a lot of things in fashion, the countdown to fashion week, the thought of fall being right around the corner, and of course September issues of our favorite fashion "bibles" are released. I received my first September issue today from Marie Claire and it had Mary-Kate Olsen on the cover. If your like me, MK and Ash have been my favorite for as long as I can remember and their sense of style is beyond amazing to me. This issue only featured MK but of course her sister was right next to her during the interview! The 10 page spread featured our favorite twin wearing some of the most spectacular designs from Marc Jacobs to Chanel to the legendary Alexander McQueen.
I love how in the article is she talks about how her birthday is right around the corner and how she and her sister feel like they are turning 48 instead of 24 due to the fact that they have been in the business since they were 9 months old. One of my favorite quotes is when she admits, "Sometimes Ash and I have to bring each other back, or push each other more. It's really helpful to have another half; were constantly checking in with each other." It reminded me of how important our relationship's our with our siblings really are. So my stylish tip, go pick up this issue and all the other amazing September issues!
