If you follow me on Instagram, you know that my best friend is getting married later this year and my mom and myself (mostly my mom, who is a rockstar) hosted her Bridal Shower over the weekend! We had an "adult" tea party and can I just say it was seriously a blast! My mom suggested a tea party and I knew that was the perfect theme, I just had no clue how to put it all together. I asked around and did a lot of research and came across this lady, Alison Meyer, who owns Just Ask Alison and she brought my idea to life! She prepares and cooks all the food items, brings tons of decorations and serves it all herself. The food was to die for! My mom and I did a lot of the decorations such as the Ring Game and Bridal Shower Scattegories, but Alison just completed all our work with her additional amazing decorations and treats. Our family friend also did all the flowers herself and they could not have turned out more perfect!
We hosted at my mom's house and the beach was just the perfect backdrop for a fun tea party. We enjoyed lots of yummy food, mimosas and of course tea. (Funny story I was so busy talking to everyone I actually failed to have tea hehe) We played some fun games that were a serious hit and ended by opening up shower gifts. It was such a great day celebrating my best friend and hanging out with all of her amazing friends! I cannot wait to be a part of her wedding later this year!
