Stylish Fit Tuesday's: Week 1

I am so EXCITED to be launching a three week series with my best friend Terressa on how to live fit and stylish! Make sure to check out T's blog where I am doing a post about gym hair!
It is so much fun to finally be able to collaborate with my best friend Alex! I have seen her grow and build this blog since day 1 and for me to be able to share my knowledge and experience on her website is almost surreal. I am an online personal trainer and blogger in the midwest, so our friendship is filled with silly texts and Skype dates. Together, we motivate each other achieve our fitness goals and being bad influences when online shopping. One of the things that is hardest about being a busy blogger and employee is physically getting to the gym. Sometimes the best we can do is make the best of what you have at home. Here are my quick tips to an “at-home gym”!

What you need:
A couch
A step stool or ottoman
Your kitchen chair
5 tips for making it work:

1. Lift your legs up when doing squats for booty building
2. Do things like mountain climbers, jumping jacks or burpees between sets to get your blood pumping and heart rate up for fat burning
3. Bridges are fantastic for your hamstrings. Add weight for an extra challenge
4. Use your chairs for step ups, tricep tips, back extensions, upright pushups to take your strength to the next level
5. Superset your exercises for fat burning
