Stylish DIY: Lemon Sugar Hand Scrub

This weekend I decided to be crafty and look up homemade beauty recipes. As I was planning on doing some type of face mask, I cam across this yummy Lemon Sugar Hand Scrub and knew I had to make it! After living in Arizona for almost four years, it became a habit to ALWAYS have lotion with me and to moisturize as much as possible, and since moving to SoCal, I have gotten a tad lazy and my hands are suffering. I love a great scrub and making one with ingredients I have in my kitchen is even better. See below how to make this yummy hand scrub that's perfect for summer!
Materials Needed:
2 1/2 Cups of Sugar
1 Cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
4 Tablespoons of Lemon Juice
12 oz. Mason Jar
Step 1: Pour 4 tablespoons into the mason jar and set aside.

Step 2: Combine the sugar and olive oil in a separate bowl and mix together until you get it really into a good paste.

Step 3:Scoop the sugar and olive oil mixture into the mason jar of lemon juice and continue stirring.

Step 4: Voila! Now you have a sugar scrub. Scoop  a small amount into your hand and massage all over then rinse. (while it says its a hand scrub, I used it on my feet too and it worked great!)

(FYI after sitting for awhile the ingredients do start to separate (the sugar mainly) so make sure every time you use, you shake or stir the bottle to combine the ingredients again!)

Easy enough right?
So until next time... Live Stylishly
