So a perfect way to start out my fall break was manicure's and pedicures with my mom! Since I have been swamped with school and work I haven't been able to actually get a manicure or pedicure in quite some time so I was ready to take full advantage of this opportunity! I decided I wanted to try a gel manicure after reading so much about it in magazines and from my friends!
I was bummed when I only could choose from about 6 colors at this particular salon, but I figured I would try something new and step outside the box. I chose to use Cajun Shrimp by OPI from their Axxium Soak Off Gel Lacquer. This is supposed to last about two weeks, which is what had me sold right off the bat. I will say I am a little bummed that the color isn't darker, but I now know for next time, and when I researched these colors they actually have many of my favorite colors available, just this salon didn't have them in stock.
Here are some pictures of my experience! I will say that the manicure is awesome, I am just someone who loves dark colors, so not having a dark color painted on my nails is something out of the ordinary for me, but I can't wait to see how long they really do last!
